Overview
The BCM68850 is a highly integrated 50G ITU PON/XGS-PON and EPON Gateway system-on-a-chip (SoC) with integrated Edge AI for rich service delivery and intelligent broadband applications. Combining a multicore ARM v8 CPU complex, line-speed packet processing with a Neural Processing Engine (NPU), non-blocking Ethernet and native Wi-Fi 8 support, the BCM68850 enables homes and businesses with industry-leading throughput, near-zero latency and sophisticated gateway functionality. Supporting 50Gbps, 25Gbps and 10Gbps Ethernet interfaces, the BCM68850 can be designed into a wide range of deployment scenarios to meet the needs of residential consumers and business users.
